| Temporary Holding Facility (THF) |

| The Santa Clara Police Department operates a Temporary Holding Facility. This allows our officers to process and temporarily house many arrested individuals at the police department, instead of transporting and booking them at the County Jail. Staffed by civilian Jail Service Officers (JSO), this facility typically processes over 2,700 adults and 100 juvenile offenders annually. |
