How do I find out if someone is in custody?
If the person has been booked you can find out their status by calling the Santa Clara County Department of Corrections (408) 299-2305. There is sometimes a delay between time of arrest and booking. It is best to wait a while after a person has been arrested before calling.

How can I view the Megan’s Law database?
Megan’s Law authorizes the public to view portions of the database listing the locations of known sex offender registrants.
