| What is a Community Service Officer (CSO)? |
| CSOs are full-time employees that have various jobs within the Police Department. Their duties include parking enforcement, traffic control, school crossing guards, crime prevention, vehicle maintenance, evidence processing, and several other related duties. CSOs provide assistance to sworn officers to allow them more time to respond to community needs. |

| What is the difference between a School Resource Officer and a D.A.R.E. Officer? |
| A D.A.R.E. Officer teaches the 10 week elementary school curriculum and the 11 week middle school curriculum. The School Resource Officer (SRO) teaches law enforcement related topics when requested by the schools - from preschool to college/university classes. The SRO also handles school related criminal investigations. |
