How can I become an adult crossing guard?
Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and are available at City Hall, the Police Department, or can be printed off of the city website. Competitive wages start at $12.01 per hour; hours and locations vary.

What are the requirements for the adult crossing guard position?
Applicants must be at least 21 years old with any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the State of California DMV is required. Applicants are required to work in inclement weather and should have working knowledge of City and State traffic laws.
