| I’m expecting out-of-town visitors who have an infant. Can we get a temporary infant car seat? |
| Temporary use car seats are available at the Santa Clara Police Department. One must be a Santa Clara resident to obtain a car seat. There is a small fee for use of a car seat. |

| The Santa Clara Police department does not inspect infant seat installation for safety. Contact the California Highway Patrol for that service. |

| How can I make a donation to the Police Athletics League (PAL)? |
| To make a donation to PAL, or to ask questions about the program, call the PAL office Monday through Friday at (408) 615-4880. You may also write to PAL at 601 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95050. |

| How do I get my fingerprints taken for employment, licensing or travel? |
| The Police Department does provide this service for a nominal fee, currently being evaluated. Fingerprint services are by appointment only for Santa Clara residents, or those who work or attend school in Santa Clara. Call (408) 615-4725 for an appointment. |

| How do I obtain a Clearance Letter for travel to another country? |
| Requests for Clearance Letters are handled as quickly as possible, but requests must be written and you must provide proof of identity such as a driver license or other form of photo identification. We require your full name, date of birth, current address, Santa Clara address and years of residence in Santa Clara. There is a $5.00 fee for Clearance Letters. |
